Esquisse introduces watercolour prints

10 July 2017

Since its beginnings, the young label founded by Céline Jean in March 2016 has focused on photo print fabrics and all-over motifs.

The founder wanted to create an ethical, responsible brand that was entirely made in France. Her slow fashion philosophy means consuming less but better, so she presents small collections with laser-cut, streamlined designs and clean cut finishings. Travel, expressed through superb photo print fabrics, is a favourite theme in Esquisse collections.

For summer 2018, Ms Jean was inspired by a trip to Morocco and especially to the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech where she got the idea of working with prints based on watercolour artwork. The Balade Marocaine line evokes Moroccan colours and decor and is composed of three briefs and a wireless triangle bra.
