Maison Lejaby heads for new beachwear horizons

9 July 2017

Beachwear is certainly not new for Maison Lejaby; remember that the company once owned Rasurel, a major beachwear name.

But for summer 2018, Maison Lejaby brings new energy to its beachwear with the appointment of a swimwear expert (seven years with Erès) as Creative Director.

The brand wants to show that, beyond its recognised technical expertise, it can produce beachwear with the same daring and creativity that it used to re-energize its corsetry activities. This translates into image-making items that move easily from the beach to the city.

Of special note, the Clou line with tiny ready-to-wear-inspired studs on solid colour or small floral print fabrics. Riva is another star with a surprising suit collar. Then there’s Drapé with triangle tops and bottoms for more or less coverage at whim. Behind this rich creativity lies impressive technical skill.

All the suits are designed for large cup sizes, up to G. They’re made in high-stretch Emana® fabric which, thanks to a strong percentage of Lycra, provides impressive comfort and second-skin fit.
