What is the “theme” of your store? A city boutique meets the suburbs
How do you want your customer to view your store? We want our customers to feel comfortable and welcomed. It is important to have a warm, inviting space when dealing with intimates. We take great pride in being able to service women of all shapes and sizes, and love to hear our clients’ referring friends and family because of the experience that they had here.
What do you think was the hottest trend in 2016? Bralettes and more natural shapes in general
What do you love the most about working in the intimate apparel industry? I love helping women feel more confident with their bodies, and knowing every day I can make someone’s day a little bit better.
If you could pick any celebrity to appear in your store, who would it be? Kate Upton–Because she has a small band and full cup which is very similar to many of our customers
With intimate apparel becoming more and more of a street style today, how do you allow your store to adapt from the bedroom to the street? Embracing lace and little peek-a-boo details. Lace bodysuits are a favorite way to transition from functional to fun.
What defines your store’s shopping experience? Personalized attention and focus on fit and lots of laughs!
What are some of your personal favorite brands? Bra Brands–Wacoal, Panache, Empriente. Sexy, sophisticated lingerie that feels good to wear–Samantha Chang
With so many new brands out there and so much information sent to you through many different outlets, how does a new brand catch your eye? Appropriate, thorough follow-up that is mindful of the hectic environment that is a small business
What do you look forward to the most at CURVE? I look forward to the fashion, as well as seeing friends and talking shop. I really love bringing my new employees along so they can experience another facet of the business
