A family firm set up in 1974, BeBe Cotton Knitting specialises in innovative knit fabrics. Based in New Taipei City, Taiwan, the company employs 30 people and has four production facilities – three for knitting, and one for dyeing. It has 40 circular knitting machines, 20 single jersey knitting machines, 20 double knitting machines, and 10 dyeing machines. The firm produces 50,000 metres per month.
BeBe Cotton Knitting stands out with a broad offer of technical items in various materials and blends, including baby cotton, high density cotton, Supima cotton, cupro, polycottons, polyamide blends, Micromodal Air, Tencel, and Viloft.
Innovation is one of the firm’s strong points. BeBe Cotton Knitting conducts numerous development projects in partnership with its clients.
The company is eco-responsible. It has an energy-efficient production system, uses natural dyes in some of its ranges, makes sustainable knits with eco dyes, and produces certified organic knits and knits in Cupro (made from recovered cotton waste). BeBe Cotton Knitting has also developed a range of new, structured 3D knits with natural quick-dry properties. The company has Oeko-Tex, GOTS, and Ecocert certifications.
BeBe Cotton exports 60 percent of its output. The firm has many customers in Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan and Australia, as well as in Hong Kong, China, and Sri Lanka. BeBe Cotton Knitting’s portfolio includes Anita, Triumph, Wacoal, Lise Charmel, Hom, Aimer, Marks & Spencer, and Mas Holding.
