DERUN TEXTILE

Country: China

Established in 1991, Guangdong Derun Textile Co. produces high-quality stretch knits. It has imported machines from Germany, Switzerland and Italy and develops the most cutting-edge European knitting, dyeing, finishing and printing technologies.
With annual production of 20 million yards, it is one of China’s largest knit suppliers and one of the first Chinese companies to launch production of circular knits and warp knits simultaneously. Now a reference in the swimwear market, the company is also present in the underwear and sportswear markets. The R&D department develops dyeing and finishing in close partnership with yarn specialists, fibre producers and raw materials suppliers, such as Invista (Lycra® Beauty, Lycra® Xtra Life™) Clariant, Cognis and Huntsman. Development projects are also carried out in partnership with high-profile brands to create innovative products.
Guangdong Derun Textile Co is committed to a “Cleaner production, Energy saving” responsible production policy with checks on chemical products used. It is ISO 9001, Oeko-Tex and REACH-certified and has signed cooperation agreements for “ecological” production within the framework of development programmes from H&M (BMI program) and Lindex (SWTI program).
Exports make up the majority of business, with sales in Europe, North America and Australia.
