INTERFILIERE PARIS BRINGS EUROPEAN CREATION TOGETHER

8 July 2017

A veritable meeting point for creativity, Interfilière Paris is showcasing four Spanish and British design studios for the first time and welcoming the return of Dea Dessins, a Swiss studio established in 2008 by Andrea Buck.

Dea Dessins differentiates itself through multicultural influences that Andrea often treats with humour. The studio offers a wide range of designs, 350 each season, for the lingerie, underwear, children and menswear markets. Andrea is particularly fond of the loungewear market. She has a large archive collection of 1950s, 1960s and 1970s designs.

Both British studios were set up three years ago. Laura Campion works with ten international designers to create exclusive digital designs, keeping a close eye on the latest trends. Laura ensures that motifs are easy for her clients to work with. Each season, her collection boasts between 300 and 400 designs for swimwear and activewear, intimates and ready-to-wear for women and children.

A new company with a wealth of design experience, See Creatures is run by two seasoned designers Dan Walters – with 13 years of experience – and his partner, Sarah Kelly. The company works with four freelance designers on a daily basis who come up with a huge variety of patterns using wide-ranging sources of inspiration for the swimwear, activewear and fashion markets.

Studio Fennec was established in Barcelona by design duo Silvia Fernandez and Juan Manuel Aloy, each boasting over 20 years’ experience in creating print fabrics. The studio’s unique creative signature ensures that it stands out from the crowd. Designs are created primarily by hand and target the swimwear, activewear, beachwear and home textiles markets.

Established even more recently, the Barcelona studio Nicole Ferrari offers 300 new designs each season. The artist-designer, Nicole McLeish, now specializes in prints for intimates and swimwear. Several freelance designers work for the studio, offering a wide selection of designs which have already been snapped up by Iebosa, Ritex 2002, Estilmar, Splash by Lo, Oktex, Anna Llop Disseny, CMS, Ze Garcia, Camilla CTG Bikinis, Now Then Label and El Corte Inglés.
