NEW PRODUCTS FROM EXHIBITORS

21 January 2018

Many new lines are being presented at the show: refined, creative and technical, they satisfy the expectations of a market looking for products that stand out from the crowd.

DIGITAL FABRIC: men as well

The Tunisian digital print specialist is presenting its first menswear collection: split between several lines, 52 patterns are showcased on polyamide or polyester with an ‘easy dry’ finish, featuring tropical motifs, florals, graphics, urban décors and large-scale figurative placed motifs. Fabric surfaces are soft and silky or more creative (voile, rib, etc.). A number of well-known men’s beachwear brands have already made their selections.

INNOTEX MERKEL+RAU: sleep tight!

Knits sprinkled with little cacti, mini exotic fruits, hot-air balloons, butterflies, wading birds and small figurative motifs, at once fresh and light, are featured in the brand new nightwear collection by the German specialist. These are showcased on cotton/elastane blends and on a brand new Micromodal for nightwear, or as higher cover motifs on polyamide/elastane for lingerie.

BE BE COTTON: effective double-face fabrics

Specially designed for sports bras, the Taiwanese company’s new double-face fabrics feature a breathable polyester or recycled polyester surface on the inside and plain or printed cotton on the outside. Alternatively, cotton on the inside and polyamide on the outside. Be Be Cotton is also offering “baby” cotton, made using a blend of cupro and polyester or high-stretch polyamide, for yoga pants.

GAYOU LACE: impressive printed laces

Present for the first time at this January session, Gayou Lace has brought an extremely sophisticated collection, created by a design team which now boasts 30 international designers. Attention has been paid to every detail: yarn selection, surface effects, prints, grounds. With 130 new designs presented this season, the considerably expanded collection has already won over American buyers and most of the major European brands. “We’re very satisfied with the welcome received from clients. Efforts made over the last 5 years, focusing mainly on the creativity of our laces, are paying off. We are now capable of satisfying and anticipating our partners’ requirements,” enthuses Managing Director, David Atchison. Some of the most striking creations include luxury embroidery-effect printed laces, ‘Missoni’-print laces, incredible cotton-feel laces and laces with ‘organic’ motifs, richly decorated with sumptuous florals and foliage.
