Meida Nylon Co., Ltd, founded in 1984, is a leading polyamide 6 specialist.

The company produces mainly chips, composites, filaments, and textured yarns, as well as knitted textiles. With a workforce of 3,500 people, it manufactures 200 million tons of polyamide chips and 70,000 tons of filaments/year.

The Knitting and Dyeing Department, created in

1997, produces printed and dyed knits for the swimwear, sportswear, and underwear markets. The Knitting and Dyeing Department employs 300 people and produces 200 tons of fabrics/month. Equipment includes 50 knitting machines, 20 dyeing machines, three printing machines, three setting machines, and four inspection machines. The company is Oeko-Tex 100, and ISO 9001 and 14001 certified.

Meida Nylon Co. offers very lightweight, highly breathable knits; stretch meshes for athleticwear and sportswear in polyamide/polyester/polyurethane blends; and ultra-stretch, exceptionally soft knits for printing for swimwear or lingerie. The company is ready to work in partnership with clients on specific development projects.

Export represents 30 percent of textile activity, with sales mainly to the United States, Europe (Spain), and Viet Nam. Meida Nylon Co. works for Mark & Spencer, Vanity Fair, Wacoal, and several other leading names.
